Delivery & Shipping Policy

Drive X provides on-demand and scheduled shipping services connecting customers with independent delivery drivers across Egypt. This policy outlines how our delivery and shipping services operate.
1. Service Description
Drive X is a digital transportation and logistics platform. We do not sell physical products. Our services are delivered digitally through our mobile applications. The "products" we offer are:
- Ride Services: On-demand transportation from point A to point B, delivered in real-time.
- Shuttle Services: Scheduled shared rides on fixed routes, delivered at the scheduled departure time.
- Shipping Services: Package and cargo delivery facilitated through our platform, as described below.
- Wallet Top-Up: Digital credit added to your in-app wallet instantly upon successful payment.
2. Instant Shipping
How It Works
- Customer enters pickup and drop-off locations in the app.
- Customer selects a vehicle type (tricycle or truck) based on package size.
- A nearby driver is matched and dispatched to the pickup location.
- Driver picks up the package and delivers it to the destination.
- Customer can track the delivery in real-time on the map.
Delivery Times
- Driver arrival at pickup: typically 5-15 minutes depending on location and driver availability.
- Delivery time: depends on distance between pickup and drop-off points.
- Drive X does not guarantee specific delivery times as they depend on traffic, weather, and road conditions.
Delivery Area
Instant shipping is available within the cities where Drive X operates. Cross-city deliveries may be available depending on driver availability.
3. Heavy Shipping
How It Works
- Customer creates a shipping request with pickup/drop-off locations, preferred date and time, and cargo description.
- Available drivers can view the request and propose a price.
- Customer and driver negotiate and agree on a final price through the app.
- Driver picks up the cargo at the agreed time and delivers it.
Scheduling
- Heavy shipping can be scheduled in advance for a specific date and time.
- Both customer and driver must agree on timing and pricing before the job begins.
4. Service Delivery for Rides & Shuttles
Since Drive X is a transportation platform, ride and shuttle services are "delivered" as follows:
- On-Demand Rides: Service is delivered immediately upon driver arrival and trip completion.
- Shuttle Rides: Service is delivered at the scheduled departure time from the designated stops.
- Wallet Top-Ups: Digital credit is delivered instantly to your in-app wallet upon successful payment processing.
5. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate pickup and drop-off locations.
- Be available at the pickup location when the driver arrives.
- For shipping: properly package items before driver arrival.
- Do not ship prohibited items (hazardous materials, illegal goods, perishable items without proper packaging).
6. Driver Responsibilities
- Handle packages with reasonable care during transit.
- Deliver to the correct destination as specified in the app.
- Communicate with the customer if there are any issues during delivery.
7. Liability
- Drive X acts as a platform connecting customers with independent drivers. We are not a shipping carrier.
- Drivers are independent contractors responsible for the safe handling of packages.
- For disputes regarding damaged or lost items, contact our support team and we will facilitate resolution between the customer and driver.
