Terms of Service

Effective Date: April 14, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Drive X mobile applications and related services operated by Driver X For Smart Transportation ("Drive X," "we," "us"). By using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Drive X.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

2. Our Services

Drive X is a technology platform that connects riders with independent drivers. We provide:

• On-demand ride booking
• Scheduled shuttle seat reservations
• Instant and heavy shipping services
• In-app wallet for payments

Drive X does not provide transportation services directly. Drivers are independent contractors, not employees of Drive X.

3. Account & Wallet

• Each user may have only one account.
• Your wallet balance is used to pay for rides and services.
• You may top up your wallet using credit/debit cards or Vodafone Cash through our secure payment provider (Paymob).
• Wallet balance is non-transferable between accounts.
• We reserve the right to suspend accounts with suspicious activity.

4. Payments & Pricing

• Fares are calculated based on distance, vehicle type, and applicable rates.
• The estimated fare is shown before you confirm a ride.
• Shuttle seat prices are calculated based on the distance between your nearest pickup and drop-off stops.
• All prices are in Egyptian Pounds (EGP).
• We reserve the right to adjust pricing with prior notice through the app.

5. Cancellations

Please refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy for detailed cancellation terms.

6. User Conduct

When using Drive X, you agree to:

• Treat drivers and other users with respect.
• Not use the service for illegal purposes.
• Not ship prohibited or illegal items.
• Be at the pickup location on time.
• Wear seatbelts during rides where applicable.
• Not engage in fraudulent activity, including fake bookings or payment fraud.

7. Driver Terms

Drivers using the Drive X Captain app agree to:

• Maintain a valid driving license and vehicle registration.
• Keep their vehicle in safe operating condition.
• Follow traffic laws and drive safely.
• Arrive at pickup locations promptly.
• Maintain a minimum wallet balance as required by the platform.
• Not cancel trips without valid reason.

8. Safety

• Both riders and drivers have access to an in-app SOS emergency button.
• All trips are GPS-tracked for safety.
• Users can rate their experience after each trip.
• We may deactivate accounts that receive consistently poor ratings or safety complaints.

9. Intellectual Property

The Drive X name, logo, app design, and all related content are the property of Driver X For Smart Transportation. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property without written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

• Drive X is a platform connecting riders with drivers. We are not liable for the actions of independent drivers.
• We are not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, or road conditions.
• Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.

11. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Significant changes will be communicated through the app.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Egypt.
